Scorpio Subsystem ♏

Back to System Members

The Scorpio subsystem is a collective of fictives from the TV show Arcane, who all collectively formed after binge-watching the end of season 2.

Violet's avatar

Violet (she/they)

In system: The subsystem's host as well as a host for the broader system overall. Everyone's token butch cous-aunt, adoptive mother of Sophie, and one of the first fictives in our system to have vivid exomemories.

In source: A denizen of the Lanes, Piltover's undercity, who was wrongfully arrested after her adoptive father Vander was killed by the crime lord Silco, and was later broken out by Caitlyn. Avatar credit: Arcane (Netflix)

Caitlyn's avatar

Caitlyn (she/her)

In system: The first member of the Scorpio subsystem to be discovered, as well as Violet's girlfriend and frequent co-front partner. The two of them were the first official in-system couple to begin dating, and are still the most consistently open about such.

In source: The daughter of a powerful Piltover politician who became a police officer, eventually putting aside her duties to break Vi out of prison to help investigate Silco. Avatar credit: Riot Games

Jinx's avatar

Jinx (she/her)

In system: Local chaos gremlin and ADHD holder. Also the host of a nested subsystem, Gunpowder, consisting of her and Powder. Often called upon by other members when struggling with work, much to Powder's chagrin at having to clean up when Jinx gets bored.

In source: Vi's younger sister, who was taken in by Silco and blamed herself for the death of their father and friends, becoming the crime lord's right hand woman. Avatar credit: Arcane (Netflix)

Powder's avatar

Powder (she/her)

In system: Jinx's other half, who helps make sure Jinx's antics stay safe and legal and cleans up the pieces when Jinx gets bored partway through a task.

In source: The original personality Jinx left behind. Sourced from our theory that the two were a system, with Powder going mostly dormant and bleeding through at various points in the story. Avatar credit: Arcane (Netflix)
